Womb. Water. Wisdom.

HEALING THE MATRILINEAGE AT THE SOURCE ON EARTHĀ

October 30th - November 4th, 20205

You are invited.

Ā

About a year ago now, as I was preparing to lead this same retreat in Egypt, I came back from the desert a bit heart tattered. I was sitting at the precipice of the end of my fertility. By that time I had been sitting there for a while. I had inside of me a growing ambivalence. I was no longer obsessively compelled to have a baby, but I was also not entirely free of the grips of the captivating desire to make life inside my body. I was sand drunk from the time I’d just spent in the desert. And I’d just summoned a genie (also known as a magnetic man) on her curves toward which I moved recklessly under the influence of my own internal intoxication.

I knew I needed more sobriety (emotionally speaking—I’ve been external substance-free for many years). I also knew that I needed some help closing the chapter of my fertility and all that it had meant to me and all that it meant to me that it was closing.

Where exactly does on go to metamorph into the Crone, to bury the mother that you are... or worse...that you have been longing to be but have not become? Where would I take the ache in my womb or the sense of failure at being one who teaches women to pursue their desires but had never realized this one of my own. (Yes, truly, I know that desire is not to be measured in literal attainment—but this is what the brain does when it is reeling).

As the saying goes, when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. And so she did. From the very next room. In the cozy boarding house for witches where I was staying in an old neighborhood in Cairo.

Enter Rah. Womb healer. Indigenous shaman from South Africa. Water keeper. All around magical being. I had met her briefly in the kitchen before I went into the desert, while looking for herbal tea. Now, I looked at her full square and said—"I need your help to close my womb." I didn’t know exactly what that meant and she didn’t really ask. We made a time to ā€œdo itā€ between our busy teaching and prepping schedules. I got undressed. She set up a pot to steam my yoni, and we went to work.

She set the space and a pace with her drum. I journeyed into the waiting arms of my own ancestors and came out of that moment having seen and experienced exponential healing but also with the golden phrase ā€œit is an honor to close a lineā€.

I had known for many years that I’d ben deep in the work of healing my lineage. Particularly my matrilineal line. But, before this moment, I’d had no idea that my *not* having children was a part of that healing. I’d sat with the hard patterns of self-abandonment turned inward to become anger and disease that taken both my mother and my grandmother with the same diagnosis. I’d watched their brilliance taken on the non-threatening confines of teaching and educational administration. I inherited many things from my lineage of teachers, but I also birthed an entirely novelĀ  commitment to stay with myself no matter what--even when that meant leaving jobs and even industries. While I knew they were the right choices, I’d always also thought they were part of the instability that had doomed my own maternal aspirations.

But now I could see that that self-repossession, the ways I declined to martyr myself for my yet unborn, the stubborn moments that I insisted it did not have to be an either/or…these were the healing. This was the work. And no further women would have to be born in my line to digest the self-abandonment of ages.

I did not fail my line. I finished the work. And oh! What a mighty reframe it was. What a freedom to not live as one insufficient to the task of motherhood but as one who valiantly took on another necessary task.

Since this moment of revelation, I am more available to myself. More available to the dreams that are brewing or deepening in this transitional perimenopausal window. I have more lightness in my mind, more focus on what’s now and what’s next. I’ve closed a chapter of grief that let’s me truly look forward to whatever might be next. To grandmotherhood from unexpected places. To planetary motherhood. To stewardship.

By the time I had my clothes back on and a glass of warm tea in my hands, I knew the next retreat would follow Rah and this powerful work to her homeland. That’s how Womb. Water. Wisdom was born. And how I know beyond a shadow of a doubt how powerful and lifechanging it will be.

You may be reading this thinking that you can’t imagine your life without your kids. Or that you’re still very much looking forward to rendezvousing with your future children. Or that you’ve always known you didn’t want kids. It’s not about the particular path. Each path we pursue is the right path. It’s about the integration of our womb stories (our creative epicenters). It’s about our deep and essential connection to our matrilineage…to THE matrilineage…and to the Mother Mind - the core feminine creative knowledge that breathes us all in every moment of our lives—that lies at the heart of it all.

We are all mothers and daughters, connected to the heart of being, right back to the very beginning of time.

I invite you to join me on an unparalleled journey into the heart of humanity’s motherland…into the Mother Mind…and into a rebirth into your own deepest power. This fall in Capetown, South Africa.

It is certainly not a journey for everyone. But it can be for you if you are called.

Welcome to the threshold of a whole new kind of Surrendered Leadership.

The Invitation to Surrender

Ā

Each year, the women of Love + Freedom Education embark on this special retreat.Ā

One of the things that makes this annual surrender invitational so special, is that we commit to take this journey together before we even know where in the world it will be.

It’s a very precious time for our community of women, who come from all over the globe and all walks of life, to converge together in-person. Quite often for the very first time.Ā

Ā This convergence is just another expression of the deep feminine principles of listening closely to our desire and intuiting just the next right step--one step at a time--that are at the heart of our shared work together.

Ā In February, at the beginning of our program year, when we make our commitment to travel... much like in life...we don't yet know where the path will take us.

As we come together and begin to listen deeply to each other, we also listen for the call to place. Where in the world is the land connecting with the same lessons that we are? What place is exquisitely prepared to hold us expertly in our process?

Ā So far, we have been called to the jungles of Bali, the peninsula's edge in Washington State, the beaches of Zihuatanejo and the urban cafes of Mexico City, and the ancient wonders of Egypt.Ā

This year we are following the call to Cape Town.

Ā

Follow the Wonder

Ā

step into the unknown

with all of your power.

THIS IS THE QUIET INVITATION YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR.Ā

Ā

Welcome to Mama Africa.

Ā

Welcome to Mama Africa, a land steeped in ancient wisdom and divine essence. Known by the First Peoples as Camissa—"the land that rose from the seaā€ — this sacred land calls you to reconnect with your deepest roots.Ā

Ā

You are invited on a transformative voyage of rebirth through the Cosmic Womb of Creation. This sacred journey is designed to reawaken your biological, emotional, and physical ties to the earth and your ancestral lineage. As you embark, you will activate dormant potentials within your DNA, awakening the innate capacities for love, creation, and transformation that are woven into your genetic tapestry.Ā

Ā

This is a sacred invitation to reclaim your inheritance—your divine genetic treasure chest—and to remember your true essence at the core of your being.

Ā

Central to the Womb Water Wisdom Way is a sacred, transformative Womb Rebirth journey—an intimate four-day process designed to consciously map and honor the feminine dimension within. This sacred pilgrimage guides you back to the essence of your origin, tracing the sacred path from spirit into matter, and reconnecting you with the Mother—the wellspring of your innate wisdom, creative potential, and divine feminine power.Ā

Ā

Throughout the journey, we will employ various sacred practices to access higher consciousness and deepen your connection.

Ā

⁃ Journeying: A form of shamanic work that shifts your state of consciousness, allowing you to access deeper realms of your feminine soul.

Ā

⁃ Breath-work: Facilitating energetic release and heightened awareness, opening pathways to inner clarity and healing.

Ā

⁃ Enchanted Storytelling: Using mythic and symbolic narratives to commune with the seat of your feminine soul, awakening ancestral wisdom.

Ā

⁃ Gentle Pelvic movements: Supporting physical digestion and integration of emotional and spiritual insights, helping to anchor your experience.

Ā

May your journey through the Womb Water Wisdom Way lead you back to the sacred source within, fostering a profound connection to self, lineage, and the sacred Motherland.

Ā

Much Love to you šŸ™šŸ½āœØšŸ’—,

Rah

Ā

Surrender.

Ā

You’ve heard of it.

Something in you knows that it’s not the negative thing you once thought it to be.

That it’s not defeat.

That it’s not telling someone else they’re better, stronger, or more capable than you.

You have a sense that it could be the doorway to something different.

Ā

Imagine a world where it’s actually the doorway to the highest version of yourself.

To everything you’ve ever dreamed of or desired.Ā

Ā

Far from being an expression of defeat, surrender is the deepest essence of feminine power.

Power that comes from your being and not your doing.

It is a pathway to being in co-creative relationship with life.Ā

It requires your awakened heart but not your control.Ā

Ā

In fact, all of the ways you've been trying to control your life into being the way you want it to be have likely just left you increasing degrees of exhausted.

Ā

It's not some sort of incomprehensible woo.

It's the power of allowing universal forces to align on your behalf.Ā

And that is the most divine kind of magic.Ā

Ā

Maybe you've been curious about surrender.

Maybe you've seen a glimpse of it somewhere in your life and you’re looking to find out how to have more of it.

Ā

We Invite You

Hi! I'm Kianga.

I'LL BE YOUR JOURNEY CONCIERGEĀ

Ā

My name is Kianga Ford, and I’m the very real woman behind Love + Freedom Education.Ā  Almost a decade ago now, IĀ walked through the doorway of surrender. Almost accidentally at the time. My life has never been the same.Ā

At that time, I was a university professor and a fine artist, running one of the top fine arts programs in New York City. I’m now a full-time entrepreneur with a coaching business that focuses on helping men and women to unlock the full potential waiting within each of us. To do that, I help people understand how to master and use the twin forces of creation—masculine and feminine energy. Say what?! Yes, there was a time when I used almost zero feminine energy. Honestly, I'd never even heard anyone talk about the possibility of that. And I was…well…tired.

These days, I’ve built/am building both a business and a life without force or efforting, without exhausting myself with the endless to-do’s and shoulds of my previous lives. I move from what turns me on. I grow my offerings organically, largely from the seat of my intuition.

It’s a sustainable life that I LOVE and that is deeply sourced from a place of feminine power.

I have a PhD (abd) in cultural theory and another graduate degree in fine art. I’m also a certified coach and Orgasmic Meditation trainer. But what really qualifies me to do this work is that I’ve walked the walk in the real world. I’ve leaned into these principles of creation and surrender while caretaking a terminally-ill parent, while navigating the wilds of dating and business-building, while choosing to move across country to a place where I knew almost no one (a few times). What I teach has been forged and clarified many times over by real world challenges. And while I may have an academic background, this is a living practice and not an intellectual theory.

I’ve parlayed decades of work as an artist and educator into a refined expertise in experience and curriculum design. What results is not information. It’s the magic of being able to create a context for you to have your own personal and direct experience with the Principles of Creation. It's not about becoming more like me. It's about becoming more of You.

About RahĀ (Rahima)

WOMB SHAMAN, WATER KEEPER, JOURNEY STEWARDĀ

Ā

I am a Water Medicine Woman, Teacher of Womb Mysteries, and Registered Family Constellator. As the founder of Divine Lotus, I am dedicated to facilitating personal, collective, and ancestral healing through the integration of Womb Mysteries, Water Medicine, and Family Constellations. My work aims to awaken and nurture matriarchal consciousness within individuals and communities worldwide, fostering transformative healing that honors all genders, races, and cultures.

Born with the sacred Arabic letters for womb—ر-Ų-Ł… (R-H-M)—encoded in my birth name Ų±ŲŁŠŁ…, my work is deeply anchored in matriarchal consciousness. It centers on the sacred relationship that women, men, and others share with the womb, hara, and all the sacred sites connected to divine feminine consciousness within us.

Grounded in the rich ancestral wisdom of my diverse rainbow heritages and infused with this sacred remembrance, my work combines depth with tenderness. I strive to create safe, sacred spaces of reverence and connection—places where all expressions of the feminine and masculine are honored. Through this, I aim to foster unity, balance, and collective healing.

By merging ancestral, present, and emerging knowledge, I cultivate a powerful pathway for personal and collective transformation. My work supports empowerment, resilience, and the nurturing of future generations with love, wisdom, and strength—building a more harmonious and compassionate world.

Ā

Through the sacred flow of water, rooted in matriarchal consciousness and ancestral remembrance, I weave the threads of family and future, guiding profound healing and awakening within us all.

Ā

Right now the greatest underrecognized power on the planet is the power of the feminine--the power to receive the way forward in cooperation and harmony, with consideration for all beings.

The unleashing of that power begins with each woman's healing of her own barriers to her internal power reserve.Ā

THIS IS NOT YOUR MOTHER"S RECKONING.Ā
