The Situation

I recently asked a friend to hold some space for me around a recurrently challenging topic in my life. Money.

I felt a little reticent to say that here, because many of you know that I also teach on the topic of Money. But that is, in fact, why I am sharing it. Even in zones that I’ve studied and developed mastery, including the ones that I teach, I am always stepping up to a new level of understanding and my next edge. As I expand what I'm offering in the world, my capacities must also expand.

My friend immediately rolled up her sleeves, in her endearingly enthusiastic way, and was like–whaddya need?? I got spreadsheets. I can help you with forensics. I said, “No thanks, I just need you to do what I do for other people. I need a companion in my own inquiry.” 

As I unravel the lineage patterns and expand my ability to receive from $5,000 to $5,000,000, I need a spotter as I spelunk. 

I HAVE the understanding, but I also have to learn how to play it through at this new level of experience.

What I need most in moments like this is a context to reflect my own deepest wisdom to myself.

I wasn't looking for an external expert or to have someone “fix” it for me. 

When she asked what kind of responses I was looking for from her, I said present receipt and curious questions. And that really is the core of what The L+FE Intensive is about. 

We’ve all come into this life game with our own wisdom. Our own native intelligence. We also have our unique gifts and our obstacles. And our particular life circumstances. And, finally, our vision for the lives we want to be living and the world we want to be living them in. 

From a top-level perspective this suite of 5 things makes up your soul curriculum. And, of course, to live this feels far more complex and nuanced. There are, for example, the dimensions of your obstacles that are inheritances from lineages and lifetimes. And there are the aspects of your vision that are deeply connected with the transformations happening and needed in the collective. 

If you are on the leading edge of creating and experimenting with new ways of being human, it can be hard to parse what’s “right” for you from what’s “normal’. And that’s where the generous witness can be critical. 

The Form 

I’ve experimented with many different forms and formats of coaching over the dozen plus years that I’ve been working in this capacity.

The L+FE Intensive is designed to offer specific, targeted support at critical junctures.

It’s a holographic environment that allows you to see what you need to see and to remain on your own feet, not outsourcing your choices to an external expert but being occasionally companioned by an experienced journeyer.

There is, of course, a place for long-form coaching–for relationships of regularity and depth built over time. And one of my favorite formats is long-form journey work in community.

But, in my many years of experience, I’ve found that people sometimes need a deep reorientation to begin or begin again–with a new project, a new way of relating to loved ones, or even with ongoing inquiry into one’s own patterns and ways of being.

It’s a jumpstart. It’s a refresh for big ideas you’ve been carrying that may need a reframe.

It’s often putting words to the wisdom you can already intuitively feel.

Real Intelligence

More and more, I hear about friends and colleagues turning to Claude or Chat GPT to try to approximate this space holding.

But, in truth, artificial intelligence is no substitute for spiritual intelligence or a rigorous hyper-dimensional look at your complex humanity.

The sycophantic nature of AI's programmed responses can actually keep you from seeing the deeper entrenchments that are essential to bringing online the highest available version of yourself.

I trust that you really are a genius, Chat GPT isn’t wrong about that, annnnd, we’re also going to look at the places where that genius is stuck behind patterns, behind blindspots, behind gaps in understanding, behind fear.

Born from 30 years of companioning the creative process, I bring a mastery in translating that process across fields and sectors, having worked with the full range of creators--from fine artists to tech founders to community builders.

So here’s how it’ll go… You say yes. We’ll choose a point of focus, spend an afternoon in a virtual deep dive, and come up with a plan to integrate the insights of our session in a month of supported action. At the end of the month, we come back to celebrate the wins and harvest the continued insights.

I have a PhD (abd) in cultural theory and another graduate degree in fine art. I’m also a certified coach, an Orgasmic Meditation trainer, and an ordained intuitive. But what really qualifies me to do this work is that I’ve walked the walk in the real world. I’ve leaned into these principles of creation and surrender while caretaking a terminally-ill parent, while navigating the wilds of dating and business-building, while traveling the world and remaking my life in different contexts. What I teach has been forged and clarified many times over by real world challenges. So, while I may have an academic background, this is a living practice and not an intellectual theory.

I’ve parlayed decades of work as an artist and educator into a refined expertise in Experience and Curriculum Design. What results is not information. It’s the magic of being able to create a context for you to have your own personal and direct experience with the Principles of Creation. So the invitation I make to you is not to become more like me, but to become more of You.
